Cupid’s throwing a dance for Beaver nation, and you’re invited.
Oregon State University’s Program Council invites students to their first Cupid’s Night Out, a free dance happening February 14th from 7-9 pm in the Memorial Union ballroom. This dance gives OSU students the opportunity to have a fun, casual and accessible night on Valentine’s Day, with prizes, crafts, music, and more!
The Program Council—who plan many of OSU’s big events, such as DAMJam and Beaver Bash—used to hold this dance as a Winter Formal. But since the decline in attendance, due to the dance not being free, they decided to make this year more accessible and casual. OSU PC encourages students to come with friends, partners, roommates, to enjoy an amazing night with the people they care about.
“Get out for a night…if you want to come in sweats, come in sweats,” said Rebecca Swartz, an OSU PC event production assistant. For more information, find the dance listed on OSU’s event calendar, and watch out for a table at the Student Experience Center Plaza this week for registration resources.
